Gas Hot Water Systems

Gas hot water systems can be beneficial to your home in a number of ways.

Continuous flow water heaters are a great option for there size, energy efficiency and cost for installation.

If you have limited space in your home, these are ideal as the units are compact and installed on an external wall of your home. (There are also internal options)

Continuous flow water heaters give instant hot water and will only use the gas to heat the water once the hot tap is run. This makes it very energy efficient, as there is no energy loss in comparison to heating a water cylinder.

When choosing your appliance there are plenty of options and a few things to keep in mind.

• Which type of gas will the unit be connected to, Natural gas or LPG.
• Connecting to the mains water supply for cold water connection and hot water outlet connection.
• Having an external power point near the appliance to connect to.
• Choosing the size of the required unit, which is calculated on how many fixtures there are in the house that require the use of hot water in L/M.
• The location of the appliance which will require to be installed within the minimum clearances of certain openings and objects for the flue gases to safely pass.
